Gentle Motion was started by Moshe Schwartz, certified personal trainer, nutritionist and Fascial Stretch Therapist. His team of trainers are dedicated to providing effective, efficient, and, most importantly, safe exercise programs, customized to each individual’s needs.
Specializing in injury rehab and prevention, and with a dedicated focus on post natal fitness, seniors’ health and fitness, and fascial stretch therapy (FST), Moshe and his team can help improve range of motion, mood, and flexibility through their personalized fitness programs. The team strives to help people of all health and medical backgrounds find an exercise program that is appropriate for them, to help manage conditions such as ageing, chronic pain, mood disorders and much more.

Moshe Schwartz – Owner and Senior Trainer
Moshe has been interested in fitness and nutrition from an early age, having been active in his local sports community as a child. Following 5 years in the corporate world, Moshe longed for his days playing baseball, volleyball, and basketball, and made the leap to a career in fitness. Moshe studied to become a certified personal trainer in Toronto and has never looked back, continuing to train in all aspects of nutrition, stretch therapy, and injury recovery. Gentle Motion was launched as Moshe identified a significant gap in the market for fun, interactive, and challenging workouts which could be accessed by anyone, regardless of their current health or ability. When not creating gentle workout routines, Moshe can be found playing Sudoku, reading, and spending time with his wife and daughters.

Tania Berlin – Senior Trainer
Tania Berlin is a personal trainer with over 15 years of experience. Trained and certified as a Physiotherapist in Chile and Israel, her certifications include Zumba and Barre in individual class and group settings. Her passion is to offer safe fitness programs based on individual needs and capabilities.
Tania joined the Gentle Motion team in 2017 and is always giving each client what they need, while making sure the training experience is exciting, engaging, safe and transformative through the power of exercise & movement.
The ultimate goal of her customized programs is client’s health, wellness and quality of life based on functional training, combining diverse training techniques & tools to motivate, engage & improve range of movement, strength, balance, flexibility and aerobic capacity.
Tania is a wife and mother of 3 children, so she knows how a busy lifestyle looks like!
Her cheerful demeanor and South American “flare” will make each session fun & entertaining. Tania believes that exercise is about celebrating your own capabilities and never a punishment!!!

Today, I’m a certified Personal Training Specialist (PTS), TRX Qualified Trainer, and specialize in cancer exercise and active aging, with a focus on strength training for better health, longevity, and resilience. I believe everyone deserves to move with confidence at every stage of life.
With a background in martial arts and dance, I love blending strength work with stretch and flexibility so that you can move better. I don’t just coach reps—I coach movement, mindset, and motivation. Every session is about building strength that lasts, both physically and mentally.

Kirstie – Personal Trainer
Kirstie is a certified personal trainer and kickboxing coach! She comes from a background of dance and found a passion through strength training which led her to becoming a personal trainer. She is a huge advocate for mental health and the pros in which exercise bring to the body and mind. Kirstie finds utter fulfilment guiding others on their path to a successful healthy active life style!
When Kirstie isn’t training, she is an actor, dancer, and musician. The biggest animal lover with three of the cutest, sweetest chihuahuas.
Kirstie is bound to get your hearts pumping and always have you leave with a big smile. There is no doubt she will provide the guidance to progress you over time and push you to your limits.
