Who We Work With
We believe that everyone should be able to feel good about making movement a regular part of their daily routine. Below are some of the populations we work with to ensure a fun, safe and effective movement program:
Fibromyalgia and Chronic Pain
It is extremely difficult to consider an exercise program when the most basic movements cause pain and discomfort. When working with people who have fibromyalgia or other forms of chronic pain, we make sure to go at a pace that is comfortable for both the client and the trainer. We start with small movements, and take gradual steps towards the goal of getting through the day free of pain.
Semi Retired or Retired
As we get into our retirement years, it gets increasingly important to keep active, maintaining our strength and balance. It gets harder and harder to get through our daily routine and we slow down. Every day tasks such as chores, standing up from a chair or walking up and down stairs take a greater toll on our bodies until we find ourselves unable to do activities that were once routine. We can create a customized program that will help improve your balance, coordination, and strength so that you can continue to do the activities you love, and spend quality time with your family and friends.
Pre-Post Natal Care
Childbirth is a major physical trauma, and it can be a challenge to get a new mother’s body “back to normal”. There are conditions that are common in new mothers such as:
– Incontinence (an inability to hold urine or feces )
– Diastasis recti ( which results in a “pouch” belly that won’t go away)
– Pelvic organ prolapse
And many others…
We also have experience working with…
Injury Rehab
Anxiety
Joint Pain
Depression
Sleep apnea
… and much more!
These and other conditions can be managed and/or avoided through specific core strengthening exercises. Feel great about yourself so that you can spend your time enjoying your growing family!
